Fisher dc 24v power supply DLC3010 Digital Level Controller for pneumatic control valve
Introduction
DLC3010 digital level controllers are used with level sensors to measure liquid level, the level of interface between two liquids, or liquid specific gravity (density). They are communicating, microprocessor-based sensing instruments. In addition to the normal function of providing a 4 to 20 mA current signal, DLC3010 digital level controllers, using the HART communications protocol, give easy access to information critical to process operation.
Specification
Operating principle
The change of liquid level causes the change of buoy position, which causes the rotation of torsion tube assembly. By detecting this rotation Angle, it is converted into the corresponding 4-20mA signal output. The verification method is adopted 275 HART manipulator to verify.
The rotary motion moves a magnet attached to the lever assembly, changing the magnetic field that is sensed by the Hall-effect sensor. The sensor converts the magnetic field signal to a varying electronic signal, which is processed digitally to provide linearity corrections, sensitivity adjustment, and temperature compensation
Performance characteristic
1.Simplified setup and calibration -- Meters can be configured to use default sensor data, zero level offset, differential process SG, and zero level/range only program for quick replacement of analog transmitters (4-20mA output only).
2.Small process change response - high gain analog-to-digital conversion is accurate and can measure small changes in the measured variables. This enables the Fisher DLC3000 series digital level controllers to be used in difficult level, interface, or density applications
3.Reduce temperature impact - Internal temperature sensors ensure stable performance of the digital level controller regardless of ambient temperature changes.
4.Other compensations - Instrumental measurement algorithms modify small movements of the buoy as buoyancy changes in order to calculate the true cage or container level. This provides additional accuracy on shorter pontoons.
5.Robust construction -- Mechanical guards in digital level controllers are designed to help the controller withstand physical damage common during installation or transportation without compromising performance.
6.Easy maintenance - Field wiring connections in the chamber are separated from electronic components. Prevents field wiring from bringing moisture into the housing and affecting electronic components.

The Fisher DLC3000 series digital level controller is self-diagnosing and can detect errors that lead to inaccurate measurements of measured variables. The instrument can also be configured to indicate a high and low alarm for measured variables. When an alarm or error is detected for measured variables, the analog output signal will be higher or lower than normal 4 to 20 mA Range, depending on the location of the alarm jumper selected by the user
